My Uni asked me to make three guidebook covers themed to a specific music genre. Each guidebook would feature one city that has a prominent music scene in that specific genre.

I started sketching out some rough ideas for each cover. I also decided what music genre I wanted to use as a theme and which three cities I would feature
Thumbnailing
Here I made variations of each cover. I also started making sketches for a general back cover design.
Final sketch
Here is a finalised sketch of the London guidebook's front cover. I added the black music bars on a whim.
Colour palette
Here I decided my final colours and I made some rough digital sketches of each cover.
