Student Zine

A zine for my university.

I was asked to make a zine for my university. I chose to focus on West Yorkshire gardening techniques and news.

I thumbnailed some ideas for my cover, back, and pages. I was trying to find a style that united them all.

I took my original thumbnails and experimented with alternative colours and elements in Photoshop.

More digital experimentation. I was experimenting with colour schemes here.

By this point, I decided to make the zine completely out of physical and traditional mediums. So I started experimenting with colours physically.

Using pieces of newspaper from the Daily Express, I created these mock-ups to explore what my cover, back, and pages would look like.
